About Me

Hey, welcome here!I’m Anaël Alexis, but you can call me Lex (any variations of Alexis are fine too) or by my username, AelisI’m 17 years old, gay and aroace (more specifically, cupioromantic and aegosexual)I’m a fanfiction writer, mostly based on my fandoms — so far, I’ve written about the universes of Zeyn_Syre and sinaheh. I’m a sadistic writer who loves creating angst, gay romances (Micah x Mike 4ever), horror, but also sweet and comforting storiesI have a very particular aesthetic, and I love expressing it through my Pinterest boards whenever I have the time :>As for my personality… I’m shy (or more like, I’m scared of bothering people), but if I like you, I get clingy real quick :’) I speak best through my stories (and story notes)I’m really bad at irony and sarcasm :( but really good at picking up emotions (maybe too good)Also, I’m French (UTC+2), but I prefer speaking English — I just love the language :) I tend to hang around the English-speaking side of the internet (the content’s just better, let’s be honest lol)That's it :D

Boundaries

Please read this before interacting or making content involving me or my persona
Respecting these makes me feel safe and allows me to be more open creatively

Conversations & Interactions

DMs: You’re welcome to message me, but please keep it related to fandoms, writing, or shared interests. I’m not very comfortable with casual small talk or random messages from strangers.Tone: I appreciate sincerity and clarity. Sarcasm, irony, or second-degree humor tends to confuse me, so I’d prefer if you avoid them when talking to me.Voice or video calls: I don’t accept any form of calls — voice, video, or otherwise. I don’t want to be seen or heard IRL, and I’m deeply uncomfortable sharing that side of me.Real-life questions: I’m okay answering light questions like “how are you?” or “do you have siblings?”, but I don’t want to talk about my physical appearance (voice, body, face, etc.), my school, or where I live.

Mental Health & Emotional Boundaries

Sensitive topics: If you want to talk about heavy subjects (mental health, trauma, etc.), please let me know in advance. I tend to get emotionally involved very fast, and if I’m unprepared, it can affect me deeply.Emotional reactions: I often don’t know how to react to intense or painful stories — especially grief. I may even laugh when talking about my own pain, but that doesn’t mean I’m making light of yours. Please be understanding if I seem awkward or unsure.Stimulation & memory: I get overstimulated easily and forget to answer messages even when I really want to. I’m not ignoring you, I promise — just overwhelmed sometimes.

Identity & Boundaries in Relationships

Names & pronouns: You can call me Anaël or Alexis (I prefer Lex), or use my username Aelis. I go by he/him.Romance/flirting: I’m not comfortable with romantic or flirty behavior directed at me. I’m gay and aroace (specifically cupioromantic & aegosexual), so I like romance in fiction, but not in real life.Anonymity: I use a persona and prefer staying anonymous. Please don’t ask for photos, videos, or voice recordings. This isn’t about hiding — it’s how I protect my space and stay honest.

Creative Content & Credit

Fanart & edits of my persona: Yes! I love seeing content made about my persona, as long as it’s respectful. Romantic or soft content is fine, but no NSFW or sexual content, ever.Using my work: Feel free to be inspired by my ideas. If you repost my content or clearly base something on it, a simple credit or mention is enough. You don’t need to tag me everywhere — just be respectful.Writing prompts: I’m not taking fic requests right now (too many projects), but I don’t mind receiving ideas. If I ever use one, I’ll make sure to say it didn’t come from me originally.Criticism vs. corrections: I’m here to enjoy myself. Constructive criticism doesn’t help me much emotionally, but corrections (especially in English!) are totally fine and appreciated.Collabs & memes: I’m always open to talking about fandoms or sharing memes. I don’t have many OCs yet, but I love bouncing ideas around.

FAQ

(Even if no one asked... yet, lol)

Q: What pronouns do you use?
A: He/him — I’m fine with masculine pronouns
Q: Do you take writing requests?
A: Not right now — I already have way too many projects! But maybe someday, when things are lighter
Q: Do you only write fanfiction?
A: For now, yes — but I have original story ideas slowly growing in the background
Q: Where do you publish your work?
A: Mostly on AO3 — it’s easier and I don’t have to make covers, but I like the vibe on Wattpad, so I’ll try to post there more often
Q: Do you show your face online?
A: Nope. I use a persona and I stay anonymous — partly because of family, mostly because I like it that way. Doesn’t mean I’m fake. I’m just more real this way
Q: Can we be friends?
A: I’d love to connect — as long as my boundaries are respected. No photos, no videos, no voice messages, and nothing romantic. I just want safe, quiet connections
Q: Do you change fandoms a lot?
A: I do, but when I return to one, it usually becomes a full-blown obsession again
Right now, Zeyn_Syre is here to stay (possibly for years, lmao)
Q: Who’s your comfort character?
A: The one who suffers the mostAlways
Q: What kind of characters do you identify with?
A: Soft boys who care too much about everyone else, usually blond, often gay, emotionally exhausted but still gentle
Q: Any trigger warnings?
A: Not really when it comes to reading — I’m pretty resistant. But some realistic-looking creepypasta visuals can freak me out.
Q: Do you prefer fiction or real life?
A: Fiction, alwaysThat’s part of why I stay anonymous — my online self means more to me than what people see IRL. I don’t really enjoy films or live-action series, unless they’re very stylized
Q: What does cupioromantic and aegosexual mean?
A: Cupioromantic = I don’t feel romantic attraction, but I might want a romantic relationship
Aegosexual = I don’t feel sexual attraction, but I like the idea of it in fiction — just not involving me
Q: How can you be gay and aroace?
A: Gay means I’m attracted to men in an emotional and aesthetic way
Aroace means I don’t feel romantic or sexual attraction in the usual way
Basically, I love boys — just not in the way people expect ;)
